Our founders, Jesper and Wille, grew up in the mining towns of Northern Sweden, communities that live and breathe mining. The people of these towns understand very well what it means to send friends and family off to work deep underground.
When the largest ever recorded seismic event in the region hit the Kiruna mine in May 2020, Wille’s close relative was one of the 13 miners underground at the time.
The whole town shook and massive damages were caused to the mine. But luckily, all workers were unharmed.
This is what makes our cause personal – a tireless commitment to improving how seismic data is understood.
To elevate microseismic data into knowledge for safer, smarter resource use
We deliver high-impact seismic data analysis, keeping key stakeholders informed by seismicity
With curiosity and drive, Wille and Jesper have pushed the state of the art and challeged old norms for over 15 years, creating what is now embedded in our products and solutions.
Supported by LKAB, Europe’s largest iron ore producer, they spent more than a decade doing leading scientific research and publishing groundbreaking papers.
The world-leading models, methods and algorithms stemming from the research background have been implemented in state-of-the-art software.
All in order to achieve a horizontally scalable software product, built to grow and adapt as customer needs evolve.
With a growing presence on the microseismic monitoring stage, RockSigma continues its cause.
Behind our technology is a talented, multidisciplinary team of engineers, physicists and software developers dedicated to rethinking how seismic data is processed and understood.
